Roses in Winter - Seasonal Body Oil

$20.00

Roses in Winter is a seasonal body oil. In each season our skin has different needs. In the summer when there's heat, and humidity, and sweating we are going to want a body oil that's lighter and more easily absorbed. However, in the winter, between heaters blasting warm air on us, and the cold air chapping our skin, we need something that will restore the moisture we are losing. I know for myself, my skin gets dry but also gets irritated and itchy. Roses in winter has three different hydrating and protecting oils that work together to achieve exactly what our skin needs in winter.

Rosehip Oil is an amazing benefit to any skincare routine, doing everything from firming skin and fighting wrinkles, to moisturizing and calming inflamed chapped skin. Sunflower oil hydrates the skin, restoring lost moisture while it calms the irritation, and it also protects the skin against the dehydrating effects of the winter season. Jojoba oil, in addition to being hydrating, also improves the elasticity of the skin.

There are several ways to enjoy Roses in Winter- the first is to simply apply it to dry skin like a lotion. It will absorb beautifully into the skin without leaving a heavy, greasy feeling. The second way is to apply it in the shower after soap. Warm showers are possibly the best thing ever, especially when it's cold out. Unfortunately, the warm water does more harm than good for our skin. Applying Roses in winter after soap helps lock in moisture and it also saves you the step of applying lotion after you dry off! It's also soothing the skin after shaving. A third way to use Roses in Winter is to remove makeup! I like to take a few drops on my fingertips and rub them directly on to my made-up face. The oil dissolves the makeup and softens the skin. Then all I do is wash my face like normal and TADA! No harsh makeup removers or cotton pads.

Regardless of how you use it, Roses in Winter is a staple in my skincare routine, and hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I do.
